This blog has been on it’s own journey. After doing a lot of writing in grad school Canisius College Master of Sport Administration I realized it was something I enjoyed. When I began a consulting business I wrote many business related articles under the name
AthleticBudgetCoach.com. When I was bursting with personal stories
MidMajorMom.wordpress.com was born. My knowledge of college athletics was spun with my experience of being the mom of a Division I athlete. After 19 years in the business I learned what college athletics looked like from the student’s and parents perspective and I know I became a better administrator. I began writing more posts about food and family and my friend Tim began an online newspaper called Below The Falls. He approached me to write a weekly column about food and our area dining and he tagged the name “Jude The Foodie.”
JudeTheFoodie.com actually includes all of my posts from MidMajorMom.Wordpress.com. I have not posted anything new in 2 1/2 years. In spite of that folks still go on regularly to revisit recipes and articles about restaurants and travel. One of the greatest experiences to come from my writing was the opportunity to be the host for the “Best of the Road for Food in a Small Town” in 2012. I hosted Mike and Brian representing Rand McNally, USAToday and The Travel Channel for a two day whirlwind tour of food and fun in my hometown Lewiston New York. In 2013 I traveled to France and took a river cruise on the Rhône River with Tauck Tours. Something changed forever. I loved this trip so much I knew I needed to help other people experience it, too. Nearly three years ago I set off on my quest to become a travel agent and help others make their someday plans a today reality. I was in NYC on my birthday in 2015 dining at Balthazar Restaurant when gratitude overwhelmed me. It was then I realized I was living many people’s somedays at that moment. That is how
LivingSomedayToday.com came to be. Today I have reformatted some of my content from JudeTheFoodie.com and intend to add much more from my travels since then.

I enjoyed the read. I also grew up in Lewiston, corner of 7th and Fairchild. The ugly blue house was ours. We had the entire corner lot, they have since built homes there. My earliest memories include, Rosies Candy store next to Coppins, Helms groceries, now Apple Grannys, Lumber yard on S. Eigth with train tracks that ran into the tunnel under Center St., Water tower on Lewiston Hill, Portage Road continues up the hill, Eddie Kobeski, Eleanor the wart lady, Bill Piper, Frank “let’s be frank about this” Wasko, Bill “you have got alot of gall” Gall, Cal “#$&*^?” Wier, Shorty Antolene, Stark Weather mansion, (inspiration for “Arsenic and Old Lace”) Sand sucker, Indian totem pole on River Road, Chateau Gay, now Artpark,
