Travel has been a part of my DNA since I was a girl. My parents traveled abroad at least once a year and I heard stories and saw photos that convinced me I needed to do the same. I remember thinking “someday I will travel the world like my parents.”
That “someday” took until I was 48 years old. I was bitten by the travel bug and have never been the same. It was then 6 more years until I got back, this time in 2013 on a Tauck Tours Rhône River cruise along with my husband. To my delight, he got the bug, too!
We have since gone on a cruise on the Danube River with plans to cruise the Rhine in 2017. I have also traveled to Germany with family and have plans this summer to visit the home towns of my mother’s parents with mom and my sisters.
I love planning and comparing. Luxury does not always cost the most and must include value. Often you really do get what you pay for. The internet has overwhelming options and it is helpful to work with someone who can narrow down good choices.
